“Just change your mindset!”
Hi all, first time poster here, I hope this is a right place. Some context: I have been working at this company for about a year now, I am a mid level quality assurance engineer. Our QA team consists of 3 other members – junior, senior and lead. There's also a QA manager that /should/ overlook the QA process in all the projects (spoiler: they don't). I also feel like I need to mention that I am a female working in male dominant field and I have ASD. So after a year of working here, I've gathered quite a bit of red flags: – When I first agreed to join this company, I was promised to join a different project. It was a very interesting project so I rejected offers from other companies. 1 day before my start, I get a call, they're swapping me to a diffetent project. -…

AmazonOMG Benzonfit this dick up his trillion dolla ass. Spare couple thousand for his peasants
Remember the UK used the NHS as a point of pride during the 2012 Olympic opening ceremony? Remember when we even clapped for the NHS and called them “heros” when COVID came around? Why did the majority of the British people fall for the propaganda and vote for the Tories anyway? Why does the Labour Party keep getting blamed for things that happened over 15 years ago? Cost of living and fuel going through the roof, cost of housing getting near unreachable levels with landlords and investors taking too many houses for themselves to rent out and squeeze unnecessary amounts of money out of people. All this while the average person's wages have stayed the same. Our “NHS heros” have been given a measly 2%wage increase. Even worse than last year's 3%. It's laughable. The British public seems to be very good at voting against their best interests (Brexit, Tories…
You work here so we own you!

boss tried to remove one of our breaks
So this was a few months ago, i work at a very large EV maker and we work 12 hour shifts. It states in our handbook we get a 30 minute lunch and 3 10 minute breaks, and the supervisor can allow an increase to 3 15 minute break. And granted, this is what EVERY supervisor does, its basicall the standard that everyone everywhere gets 3 15s. Well my supervisor at the time mentioned he wanted to do 2 15s for every in our department. Im like noooo. Told him what the handbook say, and his dumbass says “yeah it says you get 30 minutes minimum (not including lunch)”. Im like no, it says 3 10s minimum, yes it adds to 30 minutes but 3 10s is different than 2 15s. This went back and forth for a bit and i eventually emailed HR and guess what, we stayed at…
I asked my boss “do you trust me?”
I was hired at this new place and in the first two months it was one thing or another ware she would ask questions that felt off. I am a trucker and fill up the truck at the pump. I usually would go when I have a quarter tank left because I don’t want to end up stranded. One day I was on E and filled it up and it was 250.00 instead of 180.00. Mind you, they gave me a company card that only works at specific gas locations and can only purchase gas. It only works at the pump. She asks me “what did you buy at the gas station?” I’m like “..gas.” She says “how come it was more than last time?” And I just about had it with her. So I said “you know, for the short time that I have been working here, I feel…

Get off my lawn.
I think it’s a good time to contemplate that phrase. What it meant, and what it means now in regards to protesting effectively. They know what it means. We know what it means. Whose lawn is it?
