Most of the posts I’ve seen are usually from the USA or UK. Given the state of America, I’m looking to move to Canada. I’d definitely have more rights and safeties as a person, but I’d like to be prepared for whatever sort of conditions/economic state it is like there. Is it as terrible as America in terms of minimum wage work, or work overall? Or would I be getting fucked over just as much?

So some pretext for this I’m just gonna say a couple things. A. Working at a small family locksmith company, only 3 employees are not family. 10 employees total. Been there 2 years, I have seen 6 people leave the company in those 2 years. Everyone in the company is doing the work load of 2-3 people at this point. I have reached my breaking point and have become aware of way the company is being ran due to the extra stress. 1- Owners/Leadership are working as employees when they should be leading. They don’t hold themselves accountable for their actions. Go back and forth on policies they put in place. Lash out at employees and try to push their stress on to us. One owner is always negative and toxic the other is manipulative and tries to creat a false sense of positivity. They don’t stay true to any values at this point because of built up stress.
