Antiwork

They've filed federal unfair labor charges against the companies they work for. I'm going to be a little vague here just for my sake, but they're holding strong for a raise, an increase in paid sick days, and a few other things. These poor guys are doing the jobs of multiple people and being treated unfairly and worked to the bone. It isn't my contract specifically being challenged here but we are all on strike now. Solidarity brothers and sisters. It's the only way to force these companies to stop taking advantage of us. Apologies if this isn't interesting. I just wanted to share.

I work in healthcare, a meeting went over and this co-worker said, sorry to take so much time. I said, no problem I'm here for 8 hours regardless whatever we have to do (probably shouldn't of said that but whatever). She then said, oh thats right, you don't want to put in extra initiatve and stay late, you millenial. I said, yup, I don't want to work longer than I'm paid, plus I'm able to do my work in time. It's just frustrating to me to have these conversations again and again.
