How is this job I started beginning for of may with 7 week long training gonna push my end training date to end of July? Oh also, you can’t miss any time for any reason. I have stomach issues that have flared up and I got a verbal warning for having to miss work 2 days due to illness already. It’s not my problem that no one wants to work here for $15-$16/hr so they don’t show up to training classes? My training did not begin til a week and a half after my start date bc finally they found someone to work here. Then they have the audacity to call me out for being sick despite my doctor notes. It’s utter bullshit.
ive been soft quitting my job
I'm going to try and sum this up since its kind of a long story. I work as a wearhouse manager for a small company.only About 4 of us now due to people leaving. About a half year ago they sold the company to another. Before this happend I asked for a raise as I was doing 2 even 3 jobs to make up for lost people. I make 14 an hr as a warehouse manager. The boss at the time told me I should stick around as it would be beneficial to me when the new company takes over. Nothing ever happend. 3 months in to the new company I had asked for a raise( still the same boss). Told me to give them 2 months to get their shit together as they were transitioning into this place. Here we are a half of year later and nothing has…
Warning, long long rant. Advice it you have it. Just need a little support. End of April I started a new job. They sold me that I can't stop out for a bit when needed and it's a give and take. They are extreamly flexible. Can work from home when needed. Week 3 I came back to my car to find someone smashed it, requiring a 4 week repair. Manager came out to help. On my lunch break next day manager offered to take me to pick up the hire car 10 mins away. Wow this place is great! I stayed back. Same day my tooth implant was bleeding, left 1.5 hour next day to get it looked at. Turns out I needed a specialist and it was urgent. I worked the time back. Friday left at 1pm to go to dentist, latest appointment possible. They said don't worry about…
Am I the only one that sees where this is going?
They love to do it
I just quit a job that was commission based. The training was supposed to be a flat rate of 4K for 30 days however on day two I did the math and realized that I was making less than $20/hr for the amount of hours I was scheduled to work. I’m pretty sure they’re going to try not to pay me for the 20 hours I already worked. I’m not sure if they’re allowed to do this but I think they’re supposed to at least pay minimum wage. I did fill out a W-2 but there’s no HR department so I’m not sure what happened to it. Be safe out there. Companies are the biggest scam artists out there.
Getting Laid off in 20 mins
Yep, got a meeting on my calendar with the VP. So far, everyone she has met with, is now gone. What should I do now? Should I delete stuff or should I call her stupid? Nothing illegal please, but suggestions welcomed.
