I am paid 2 dollars an hour, ama

I’m put down all the time at work. My coworker is ALWAYS changing the things i create. Whether it would be a blog post, Instagram story post, or whatever. It’s always never good enough. I feel like she lowkey does this on purpose. She currently changing a blog post i made two days ago. I don’t even get any feedback to improve. I’m just over it all. I hate society. I hate work.

So I have question I’ve been in collections for a year and a few months I want to move out of collections and go into sales and or insurance. I know collections is looked down upon but it’s still hard work that has its challenges. My question is can I move into sales or insurance claims? The job would be huge due my family working in sales etc… they make good money I’m 21 y/o I’m just trying to make it in life

I know I dont align politically with this group but I must say there is a lot of good points being made about work and how shitty the work place is for a lot of people I work in a good place so I really cannot bitch and complain but still damn a lot of these corporations up til COVID, was controlling workers like their slaves and then the people got the power and not those stupid boss assholes man. They are the some of the biggest asshats lol and they deserve all the shit they get haha.

So I’ve been working in a local corner shop for about a year now and have finally had enough of the owner and management bullying me and decided to hand my notice in and leave. They’ve said it has to be two weeks notice but everywhere else has said it only had to be 1 week. What should I do? My new job want me me to start in a week. I have no contract at my current job so they won’t really be able to do much if I only give them 1 week would they? This is in the uk btw

What do you think is the end game here? The way that I see it, wages are just going to keep being barely adequate, while the prices of everything is going to sky rocket. The middle class is disappearing, civil rights are being struck down and workers asking for basic rights are being fired or worse. What is the future here? Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this. Been feeling really crappy about employees low balling me about pay and acting like I should be greatful they are even paying me.

In everything I have read recently, CEOs seem to be scrambling for every profit dollar they can – even more than usual. I wonder if it is attempt to horde wealth before the eventual rebranding that is around the corner. Minimum wage to 30 Cap on C Level earnings as a multiple of lowest paid employee Devalued corporate buildings – especially for those “smart” companies that bought their own land and buildings Reduction or elimination of specific tax breaks designed to benefit companies at the expense of workers Whatcha think?
