After months of no visiting this subreddit I remembered all the talk about a general strike from last January and it seems that it was just that, talk.
If this is the wrong sub to ask, I definitely will remove it. However, I am not sure where/who to ask as I don't have anyone to ask. I was recently contacted by a recruiting agent. I tried to avoid the salary question as I am not sure of my roles/responsibilities for the potential opportunity. However, the recruiter asked me again and I definitely gave a lowball range (I have a hard time valuing my worth/work). The recruiter acknowledged the mid-point of my range was probably appropriate. I have an interview on Monday with the hiring manager so, of course, nothing is set in stone but I wonder if it would be considered inappropriate to try to renegotiate the salary? I assume I would have to justify it? I'm trying not to get screwed by these companies and have learned a lot here. Thanks for any advice provided.
Went into work (care home) the other morning and was told my clients who I’m in close contact with have Covid and I was given the PPE like body wrap, face shield, and n-95 mask. But they found out they had Covid a couple days earlier and didn’t give me any heads up while on my days off. Is that okay to just tell me when I arrive to shift I’m going to be exposed to Covid?
I am not good with writing, as the title suggests, and am trying to sound professional. Communication and formality isn't a strong suit. I am being discriminated against for my disability and this submission is my last one. I've had 4 others.
