Am I being ridiculous?
So I work for a in hospital as a pharmacy technician. I've been there 2 and a half years and when I started the pay was 14.17. I now make 15.30. My company changed the starting wage for all positions in the hospital to 15 an hour. My pay was 15 when this happened so all I got was a 30 cent raise. I feel like it's.not fair that someone that was making 10 working as a custodian before is making 15 but I just get a measley 30 cent raise? I feel that my pay should have gone up at least three dollars. I have a certification and schooling. My certification is due for renewal but why should I renew my certification when I can just move to an easier job at the hospital and make essentially the same money? Am I just being an asshole and should I…
I work at a nursing home and there were several occasions that admin asked employees to leave a glowing review on yelp or google for a chance to win something.. im thinking are they allowed to do this? Is this an issue with HR? Almost all reviews on Yelp did get flagged as ‘not recommended’ because employees would reveal that they work there and that doesn’t align with yelps reviewing policies.
Fuck you, I won’t do what you tell me.

First window opens up and an older lady is working. She looks tired as hell. Like I felt bad going there now. I asked, how long have you been there and she said she opened. It was closing in on time to close. So we are talking a long ass day. I paid her and told her I hope she gets some rest soon. So I go to the next window and a Younger worker is there. She also looked exhausted. She apologized for the wait…
So, first some background. I work in a grocery store as a sandwich maker, while I'm doing my Masters. In my country we have our ww2 liberation day may 5th, which where I currently live is celebrated excessively. The exam is for a qualification to work the liquor-cigarette section of the store (seperate register) So when I planned the exam, I had to work around the three week notice from my job and my schedule for uni. This left only may 5th, in the morning. So i scheduled it, 5 weeks before the date I requested time-off. 3 weeks before it got denied, because they needed me as a lot of people were going to be gone due to the festivities… So I send back an email, basically saying its not okay, and that I would not be there, even if i found no replacement. (Its a holiday… good luck…
