I go on job hunting websites like indeed and LinkedIn, see a job I could be interested in, and about half the time they’re taking me to their page where I have to set up my account just to apply to 1 single job. For each company individually. What the hell is up with that? It’s honestly such a waste of time.
Lately on Quora I see a lot of these “inspirational” posters. Usually they try to inspire you and they give such generic advice like: Wake up at 4am Take cold showers Drink tea Train your brain And stuff like that. I've seen a few that were like Rich people hobbies vs poor people hobbies. Then it shows them bashing Netflix, video games, for poor people. Then it shows growing a business or learning a skill for rich people hobbies and shit like that. But to me, all these posters seem like hustle culture propaganda.
‘Hard worker’ hypocrisy
Officially quit my COO position !
I have been in my position for two years making the most money I have ever made and I wanted to die everyday. I faced gender discrimination, sexual harassment, no Covid precautions or cleaning measures and a bug infested office among so many other toxic behaviors and even was coerced to commit fraud ( which I refused to do) today I chose me over my salary and I couldn’t be happier ! Not going to lie I’m excited for the ceo to learn how much I did now that I’m gone. Gonna learn pottery
Get rid of this ‘part time’ BS
Complete scam in the retail sector. They can schedule you at 39 hours but you're part time so you don't qualify for benefits, earned vacation, pension, etc. That shit should be so illegal. I say if you are only scheduled 15 hours a week you should still qualify for everything. Fuck corporations and their games.
