How much better is it working from home? I can't be bothered to ride the bus to work every day. I'd rather take a small pay cut to never put my foot inside an office ever again. Is it worth it? Why don't more companies promote remote work? After all, office spaces cost a lot of money.

Where I'm from, it's not: it's 9-6. When someone says 9-5, to me there are two options: either their lunch break is a paid break (we don't get paid breaks) and so they get paid the whole eight hours while working 7, or they get paid 7 hours and only have 35-hour work weeks. Which one is it? Or is “9-5” an outdated term?

I’m from Honduras and I’ve been here in the U.S for 10 years. The U.S obviously has more economic opportunity than my home country but outside of money there’s not really a culture. Individualism is rampant here.
