I keep seeing insane posts that are either so impossible to be on the side of the worker who is clearly just lazy/ nonsensical or situations that seem fake. Guys, let's see some kind of change here, we have a forum of hundreds of thousands of people. I quit my full time job because of this group to try to get enough remote work to get by. I'm anti work, pro living. I still have common sense and decency and good work ethic, but I don't want to be strapped down 50 hours a week and get ragged on by responsibilities of idiot bosses. Just asking, what's your stance on the anti work movement? Is it to align hate with every idiot who quit their job over getting told not to text at work, or is it to see a better shift in work/ life balance while ending capitalistic tendencies?
All for a job you can't quit because it's the only thing supporting your family? I feel like I'm the only one. The only posts I see on this sub are about shitty managers or people quitting their jobs without any plan at all.
To the young workers or those who just started working……..EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH DOESN'T MEAN SH*T. 99% of the time they will just give you a good job and a pat on the back. No benefits being the top employee of the month. pay more = work hard. pay less = work less don't let those managers persuade you that being employee of the month is the best thing you can get out there.

Who can I turn to for unpaid work hours?
The company I work for owes me 43 hours of pay. They messed up and only paid me 8 out of 51 hours. They refuse to give me a check until next pay period and they say that I will receive one lump check. I don’t want to be taxed on 120+ hours. And I feel robbed. They should just cut me a check but im getting no where. I’ve spoken with HR and they’re the ones who are refusing to pay me. What do I do?
