Worth a shot. There is a lot of talk about sharing your wage here but it’s really hard to push in the work place. I think if we want to see it more, we need to start normalizing it. So if you work for VCA, Vet Center of America, write your wage, position, and how long you’ve been in the job. I know it’s not the same but even some comparison is better than none. I made a throw away account for this. I work i as a VA and make 16.10 an hour in Ontario. 2 years. We could maybe do this for other Corp jobs too? Dunno, just a thought.

I work in a production warehouse. The only departments after 5 pm are shipping and production. Customer service, HR, marketing are all day/regular shifts. The shipping department has announced very recently they are offering a $1 shift differential for those that work nights and or weekends. The production department is not getting any. Our department just found this out today so we are going to say something tomorrow. Any tips? Shall I go to HR, kick the door in and demand my dollar?

Hi guys i’m a college student who’s set to graduate in a few months, I recently got 2 graduate job offers from, let’s say company A and B, for the same title, the thing is company A pays 5-7k higher than company B. I was offered the higher paying one by email and they mentioned that more details about the contract will be released closer to the starting time (July), it’s been 2 months and i’m currently waiting for more information from them. The thing is company B have emailed me twice in the last week about whether or not i’ll be accepting their offer, although i’d prefer to go to company A (not just because of the money), I haven’t heard any word from them since, even when I recently tried to reach out to them, I didn’t want company B to email me a third time about their…
