I'm a fairly liberal person and my phone can tell because this community keeps getting reccomended to me, but Jesus christ you people are dumb. Of course jobs entry level jobs are gonna have shit pay, you have nothing to offer them. I realized this along time ago and I have never worked a minimum wage job, I worked as a lifeguard throughout highschool for a place that paid for my certification. You get paid what you're worth, if you want to make more then increase the value of yourself and pick up more skills.

I was working as a massage therapist. I could tell stories for days about the mistreatment and misclassifications in this field but that's not what this post is about. I thought that I found a job I actually liked, that I wasn't taken advantage of like I had been in the past. But, I just wasn't making a living because this one did have in common with all of the others that I only made commission plus tips. So if I had no appointments, I made no money. My partner had to have a pretty significant surgery so that cut down our household income as he'd be off work so there was no way I could gamble on that job anymore.
