I moved to Savannah GA, like the actual downtown part of the city where all the tours are. And while looking for jobs, many say they’re in Savannah, when in reality they’re outside of it in OTHER cities/towns. Just because you’re in the metropolitan area doesn’t mean you’re IN it. If your city has a different name, it’s not apart of it. That’s lying to try and reach people, hoping they’ll commute 30 or 45 mins. When I lived in Massachusetts, and you said you worked in Boston, it meant Boston…in the city, somewhere. You don’t post Boston when the job is in Concord ma. It’s just considered the GREATER Boston area. But it’s not Boston. Thus, you would write “Concord” or “Sudbury”. Blah blah blah. When I moved to north Jersey, I lived in Hoboken. Has any other than me noticed that all these places that claim to still have shipping issues have product falling off the shelves. I’ve been to quite a few different places Walmart, lowers, Home Depot, etc. so what I’m seeing is full price no discounts while crying about shipping shortages and “ no one wants to work”. I’m calling bullshit. Does any one else see this happening

Don't reward the system with more meat for the grinder. They don't care about unborn children, they want wage slaves. If you have children, this is nothing against you. Children are awesome and if you and have them or want them, that's perfectly fine. But when I hear all this anti-abortion bullshit, it's because they want broken families and children for their bullshit jobs.

But I just got relieved from a training course for an airline's customer support staff because I failed a training test by 1.6% ….. Needless to say I feel extremely defeated and I really don't know what I am going to do from here. I left another job for this one thinking it was an upgrade for this to happen. Disclaimer: the score was 88.4% out of 100% and the terms were that for a “retake of a test” I needed 90%. Rules are rules I get it but FUCK MAN

Last October, I (f19) started working for a petrol station that is run by a family friend. The site manager (my uncle) said that he could not pay me more than the base pay rate since they couldn't afford it. I received $22.20AUD an hour (approx $16USD) as a base pay and was told I can work weekdays with the right pay or weekends without the extra pay that employees get on weekends. Since the job paid more than my last, I agreed to work weekends. Kept with the job for months, till I got a new job. The assistant manager even asked me to work public holidays without holiday pay because they didn't want to pay the white employees the correct pay and it would be cheaper for me to work. But after getting racist comments, getting called the N word and finally, after being berated by angry customers…
