psychometric tests
Have to do a psychometric test for a job I'm applying for and it's bollocks as some choices are a rock and a hard place and you can't give context. Just further hoops and criteria for a company to say no
Last time I chased a higher salary… I was used and fired in less than 3 months (before the probation so they could get away with it). I have learned they will offer you high salary and will flat out HIDE that they are looking for temporary help or coverage. Being a lead, I took my job seriously and when my employees complained, I went straight to the store manager and inquired why people who had been there for years were being paid less. Apparently the company completely forgot how to math. Managed to secure their pay with their yearly increases attached. Needless to say I didn't last long there. Fast Forward to 2020, I noticed that during the pandemic they raised all starting pay to just around $15, give or take depending on department. The fine print marked it as temporary.…
