Could it be considered constructive dismissal to recall permanent work at home employees back to a regional office for permanent in-office roles? Mind you, these positions weren’t Covid temporary measures, rather positions that were bid for and approved as permanent schedule. Fortune 100 (operating in several states) call center job where all metrics are already tracked and monitored so “lEsS pRoDuCtiVe” doesn’t apply. MAYBE one could argue the culture has “declined” but the pessimist in me thinks the curtain was just pulled back too far and reality appeared in place of brainwashed mission and culture.

Every time I read a post about some boss being an absolute piece of shit I can hear my monologue shout “Get fucked!” Just raised your rent 40% because they could? GET FUCKED! New hires getting more per hour than you and you're denied raise/promotion “GET FUCKED” Some boomer wants to give you some bullshit bootstrap story about how hard 8 hours on the factory floor was while making the equivalent of $35.00/Hr today's equivalent?
