I'm hearing this is actually very common. If you can't make it, or change your mind, just let them know.

i'm disabled. i'm applying with an employer whose a desk job and pays well 30 minutes from my house. instead of me giving them a copy of the government forms proving i have an axis I or axis II disability they want me to get my doctor to fill out a form asking for a small accommodation like having extra breaks. is this how it's done or is this some weird back door way to do something. this employer only employs the disbled and former veterans and pays well i'm trying to figure out why they want to do it this way which i've never dealt with before.
Just asked my manager
Just asked my manager if if he’d give me a recommendation for a better job, he called me tacky.
Server Life
Server in a smaller bar/restaurant establishment. Worked out the first few weeks but I’m simply not making much- aside from the season, they overstaff the floor frequently (aka putting all of their staff on) & seems to be the biggest hiccup that they are not willing to change. I expressed to the owners that I would be looking for other employment but would give a weeks notice at least. Owner seemed fine with this & that I even told them & gave them a heads up. I know they lost two servers this week already. Came in today, put in my weeks notice & was literally told to to punch out. I forgot that common courtesy wasn’t a thing in the industry. Smh. Luckily, I contacted my new place and they are letting me start training tomorrow.

The funny thing is I am so productive that they can't get back to me on my submitted work. But this period of time gotta be the worse, who else agrees?
I don't really want to bite his nose off, Don't worry. It's just sort of an emotionally charged set of imagery to define the way I start back at him when he's in the midst of his tough guy act. We work in grocery/retail. For him it's life and death we're at war this is the battlefield. I'm like bro, I'm just trying to get through my shift go home and throw up from my diverticulitis and Crohn's disease and then retain enough energy to take care of my sick relative suffering from dementia. The guy walks around swaying his entire body and swinging his arms like he's some 300lb bodybuilder. He's 5 ft 9 probably 150 to 160lbs. His abnormally veiny arms and neck and rage incidents at work definitely suggest the use of steroids. He has that raspy deep voice that is so common with anabolics. He's also…
