Why don't I just quit?
Pretty self explanatory but I have a drug test coming up for a new job and when I asked my employer if they would disclose what drugs they test for they refused. Is this common and/or legal? For context this is in Washington D.C.

Minimum wage and exam invigilation
I enquired about a vacancy re exam invigilation in a local school. Received a message it was minimum wage [£9.80/hr] on a casual contract. They were desperate for 'support' in end of year exam season! I replied that i didn't work for less than £15 an hour. Strangely no reply received! lol!! Supply and demand issues – if you want quality you pay for it! It not then it's not my problem.
6 weeks notice?!
I started a new job recently and was perusing the almighty employee handbook, and it says employees must give 6 WEEKS notice if they’re going to quit. lol what In what world is this a thing What would you do? I’ll definitely quit eventually and I’m definitely not going to give 6 weeks lol
Company finally offers a 401k
The company I work for used to give out 10% raises. Well that changed in January. Now down to 3%. They never offered a 401k match until this month. This was good news after the compensation increase was lowered significantly. I finally got my first paycheck and was excited because, I like many, thought they were matching up to 10%. Which most companies do. Dollar for dollar. I was wrong. They’re putting in 10% of what I contribute. So if I contribute $30, they put in $3. What a joke.
