Our beloved hybrid schedule/rotation between all of team mates is now being reduced to one day. And everyone thinks our comments about leaving because of this are jokes… We'll see who's laughing in a few weeks/months.

We, the undersigned, demand the following immediate changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Fair Minimum Wage Act, and other related laws and regulations: 1) An immediate increase in the minimum wage to $20/hour for all employees, without exception for age, experience, training status, tipping expectations, or any other reason. 2) An immediate end to the “Tipped Credit Against Minimum Wage,” also know as a tipped wage offset. Employers will be required to pay the full minimum wage to all employees, regardless of whether that employee receives tips, and must ensure that all employees receive any and all tips to which they are entitled. 3) An immediate end to any legal distinction between “full-time” and “part-time” work, such that any employee shall be entitled to all benefits available to any other, including but not limited to paid time off, sick time, health insurance, and retirement plan matching. I don’t really get the concept of middle management in todays world. Most of them at the company I work for have no clue what’s going on and just seem to be holding on until retirement. Take for example my supervisor. I actually supervise her most of the time. I have to redo most of her work (I’m not even sure she realizes this) and she pushes a lot of her responsibilities on me. She comes to me with questions she should be answering. When I go into her office, 80% of the time she’s on her phone with either her computer screen off or it’s on and there’s no programs open. The group on facebook for my city is constantly full of people talking about “burger flippers don’t deserve more than $15/hr” , “if your only talent is converting oxygen into carbon dioxide you don’t deserve it”. I’m going to say it and I don’t care how much hate I get, WE DESERVE THINGS HANDED TO US. WE DESERVE to live comfortably. WE DESERVE free housing. WE DESERVE free food and water.
