Hello, first time poster here. I’ve been working at the same job for over two years now and we just had a sudden change of manager. Our new manager is not a great fit, she’s aggressive, disrespectful to all staff, and refuses to actually help pick up the slack because “i’m exhausted i’ve put in 50 hours this week already, can’t you just clean up on your own”. The owners of the company recently discussed with me how we could fix the business up to increase job performance but hardly listened to anything I had to offer. As my last move before I put in my two weeks, I created an anonymous survey where it in detail asks staff to describe “do you feel that your salary is fair? do you feel that you are valued? is everyone doing their share of work” and asked all staff to fill it…

Thanks antiwork! I told him I’d love to wear khakis but the company has not allocated any funds for this purchase. My new boss said, “you’re management and must go out and buy them”. I simply told him that wasn’t happening on my dime. Side note, guess he doesn’t like my pants that’s over ten years old! I love them though!

Why offer PTO & vacation days & then get mad when the employee uses this benefit?? After having my vacation time denied I posted this note in my supervisors office. “My vacation request isn't a request for vacation, it's a request to come back to work here after vacation, because I'm going”. Jokes on her because after this vacation I quit!
