In your experience, why exactly are working relationships so fucked up? Sometimes I feel like the problem.
Mind Control
It kills me when people say they like when its super busy at work cause it makes the day fly by. Thier managers gotta be getting a hard-on everytime they hear this shit.
FMLA Details
Does anyone have advice or just general details of the mechanics of FMLA – who qualifies, how to qualify, etc? HR can’t be trusted to give me correct information as we have competing priorities in this case – it would be fully paid through accrued sick days that would otherwise never be paid out. Has anyone used this as an opportunity to deal with anxiety and depression? Do I need a doctor’s note? I’m not currently seeing a therapist but are they the ones that would “approve” FMLA to deal with mental health issues or is it ultimately up to HR? Also, who determines the time period, I believe it maxes out at three months but who says how long is needed? Are there regular check-ins with HR? Honestly this process is causing me even more anxiety and stress but I am trying to be positive. Hanging by a thread…

Is it maybe because you, a billion dollar company, don’t pay them enough? Tips are for service over and above not for doing your job every day. I have been a pizza delivery driver and worked many years in delivery. Drivers are happy to accept tips but not as supplemental pay. You, a billion dollar company, asking customers to tip suggests your employees are not paid properly. Don’t you have a time…
Discussion about a actual workers party
So we all are in agreement that the Democrats are just corporatist right? They've proven themselves to throw away the interest of the working class as soon as elections are over. Any true workers party would have to be egalitarian in nature. Meaning any and all minorities (yes, that means trans people) would have to be fully represented. How interested would you personally be in joining, promoting, participating, and voting for such a party?
