I posted yesterday about the non compete clause question, and was mostly assured they don't hold up in the state of PA. Oddly enough, my boss called an emergency meeting and threatened us all with the Non Compete Clause contract saying we can't leave or interfere with operations after leaving. Even threatened with a lawyer and had HR in the meeting. Ok… This only solidified my decision to leave. I have an interview today for another job
Nothing shittier than finishing a bachelors degree with an two internship from fortune 500 as a minority (African American) but the only opportunity available are jobs for H.S diplomas. It's infuriating for some but not me bc I got a good job. Witnessed some outrage today and had to post this shit bc I understand that struggle and things need to change.
I just had a long weekend – 4 days because of a holiday, and damn I feel like a different person. My mind and body feel free The rich basically made us their profit machines, disregarding what we are, what we need and how we feel. Taking the best years of our life The only thing it's necessary for is to justify the ridiculous stock prices that we need to turn into quarterly and annually income in their reports I really don't think we are meant to work that much – either so many days a week or so many hours.. this is crazy
