Not a throwaway but I don't care if they find this. I work as a trainer at planet fitness in the Midwest, (It's basically a franchise so it may not apply to all PF's) and I hate the way this company works. My position was removed during lock-down and only brought back about a year ago, since then they have basically drastically limited and reduced the services I'm able to provide to members. Without getting to deep into the details I'm only able to offer 2 types of classes and at average am only really supposed to meet with clients about one time. I'm make basically 14 an hour with no commission (planet fitness is to good for that) and minimum in my state is 12:80. An average trainer in my state makes average about 20 from what I've seen on indeed or the option for commission. All that out…
Keeping it vague so I’m not caught but I left job in the recent past, more money etc. The best part was the raise and we were working from home. The job I left in the past called me about 2 weeks ago and asked me what they could do to get me to come back. I actually loved the job, it is so close to home (we’re talking a mile) and when I asked for more money they gave it to me. This came at the exact day my “current” job announced a return to office, which is roughly 30 miles away from home for me. Me and my “old but starting again job” agreed I would start on Monday. I put my 2 weeks in on the Friday before assuming they would tell me to just be done, they have done this for employees in the past. Well…
Normal workload. Who’s she?
Besides protecting the company? Because in my experience, it’s only ever enforced when it’s in the interest of the favorite employees.
My AA flight was cancelled
And no one could figure out why, everyone got different answers. If y’all are out there making things uncomfortable for your employers today, I’m (with pleasantness and good manners) trying to make it as expensive as I can for them just in case I’m inadvertently caught up in something bigger than myself. Cheers y’all.
I contacted Human Resources ELEVEN WEEKS AGO to enquire about if I'm eligible for 10 years long service leave but they have been telling me they'll “look into it and get back to me”. I'm not quite sure what is involved in working out if someone is eligible for long service leave but almost 3 months seems a bit excessive? For reference I'm living overseas so I can't go and see them in person. And it's not a massive company either.
