TRYING TO PAY ME LESS THAN MINIMUM WAGE
Compared to literally every single one of my friends and family members around my age, I’m doing pretty good for myself. I have a spouse that adds to my income, a (trailer) home, a secure job, parents that help me with student loans still, and I am STILL struggling. I can’t count how many ways I’m privileged, and I’m still ready to jump off a cliff because of the state of living conditions right now. To put it into perspective, I make more than double the minimum wage. The standard rule in every financial advice column or article I can find, says to pay NO MORE than 30% of your income on housing. If I wasn’t lucky and didn’t have my spouses income (which shouldn’t be a requirement in any scenario), I’d be paying about 60% of my income on my trailer home. Which is the cheapest housing I could…
Behold , my shitty paint skills!
I mean…they’re not wrong
Absolutely shut down my boss today
I'm thinking cuz I got a job in the back of a grocery store, storage and stuff, work from 6:30-15:30 and yknow lots of boxes and carrying it up and down etc. But can a factory be better, from all aspects (physical, mental, financial)?
