So, I’m about to start a new job but I’m hesitant to sign this. Doesn’t this mean I give up my right to bring them to court for any reason besides the few exceptions it says in #4? Even if they break the law?

Restaurant/Fast Food workers & Barista’s are over-qualified for fast paced & high-volume jobs requiring constant precision & Q.C., but we are considered unskilled untouchables.

What the title says. I’ve been trying to branch out into other job fields like factory work/sales for more pay and being met with walls of doubt or silence due to most of my resume being food service.

P&O Ferries in UK – 800 staff made redundant over Zoom with no notice, to be replaced with Eastern European workers paid under min wage (£2-3) an hour. Have people in the US seen this story? What should happen to these scumbags ?

Anyone else here have ADD/ADHD or are on the autism spectrum? I have ADHD and I swear to god nothing makes me feel that I don’t really belong here or feel like a failure more than working jobs I don’t give a shit about for shit pay and not being able to keep them. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever been able to stay at a job longer than a year. The fact that I have to do this shit for 40 more years and barely scrape by is horribly depressing and if I’m being fully transparent, it’s made me genuinely suicidal at times. I want to exercise and hike, I want to learn to farm and forage. I want to focus on my art (whichever medium I’m currently fixated on), but I can’t really do any of that because I have to work 5 days a week. All my…

When during the interview they do not reveal the salary, but they keep saying that the salary is competitive. Remember, the salary is always competing against your bills, and so far, the bills are winning.
