How to bypass drug Tests?
Just got my first job (19) and they say they'll be doing random drug tests but I'd like to microdose psilocybin and other psychedelics for my mental health without getting fired. What can I do?
Social business building
Are there people out there who would be willing to pool money together and build social enterprises for and by the people, where together we agree on how much all positions should be compensated (based on fair living wages) and, after expenses all profits go back into the business and not to make one or a few individuals wealthy?
I take a shot of vodka or 2 with some orange juice. It’s the only way I can get through a long shift at my job. So far no one has noticed. I have to deal with rude customers all day long and it’s mentally draining and depressing. All for minimum wage. I just feel so much more relaxed and stress free
Should I fire my boss?
Long story short, he's trying to screw me out of a promotion that I am the best candidate for. Several months ago, he threatened to strangle me over re-work that wasn't even mine in any way. Recently, I've come to find out the conference room is bugged with a mic, the conference room door was open when he said it, and there's a chance it could have picked up his comments. There was one witness, although I'm not sure he was paying attention, and one person who saw that I was visibly distraught, whom I told what happened. I drafted an email to HR the same day it happened, but never sent it. I remember the day it happened and the approximate time. There is a zero tolerance policy for this kinda stuff and he'd likely be fired. Should I? Also besides that, anything else I should know?
Casually awful bosses
Just started an internship and my first job in my intended career path. Going great except for the non-stop pestering by my January 6th advocat boss. He openly shares his tinfoil hat conspiracies, and rampant homophobia with ths rest of the office from his desk.
Apologies if already covered here; but this had r/antiwork all over it – HR Boss, 'Family', mass sacking over Zoom call, etc. P&O Ferries HR boss boasted about work culture at shipping firm | Daily Mail Online P&O Ferries bosses 'could face criminal cases' for 'horrendous' Zoom call sacking | Daily Mail Online Apologies Daily Mail links. Not much to add other than he / they sound like total fucking arseholes. Edit – slightly buggered up the thread title, apologies.
