TLDR: I’m helping my former boss’s current personal assistant to plan her “escape”. This is just an extended rant post. I used to be a personal assistant for a pretty unsuccessful film producer (referred to as Richard below) with anger issues. Underpaid, overworked, I worked there for a year. There is a secretary at our local trades office who is going all over the building doing her duties while covid positive. And they have posters all over the place saying if your sick stay home. The higher ups who go it from this outbreak all older generations are home. She can't quit cause of money and looks like the life was just sucked out of her. The workplace is unfair.
