Googled “why write a cover letter” and this came up. What is the purpose of a cover letter? With your cover letter, you'll aim to: Highlight your qualifications: You'll show how your skills and experience relate to the employer's needs for a specific position. Showcase your motivation: You'll demonstrate your enthusiasm for the specific position and the organization. How about companies start doing this for me too? Write me a cover letter on what your qualifications as an employer are, how your skills and experience will help me grow and be mutually beneficial, and to showcase your motivation/enthusiasm for finally filling a specific need in your organization. That too much work? Then why do I have to do it?

Anon did his part
Recently started a WFH job, I doubt my position will return to office as I was hired specifically for WFH, but things change, I think if anything they’d give the option. Been doing orientation and of course there’s a computer based learning about Active Shooters – who could be one, how to respond, what to do in the situation and such. It really gave me a bit of anxiety. Like, whoa, if working from home lessens my chance of an active shooter, I’d much rather do that. I feel like the learning module gave me anxiety just thinking about it happening. And then I had to realize that an active shooter is a real possibility in todays world and that’s extremely saddening and scary! I strongly feel that if that alone brings up anxiety, you should be able to request and exemption to work from home. Work can be stressful…
