Met my boss the other day for the first time irl, our interview was online, and they said “I hardly recognised you without the beard”. I haven’t had a beard for a couple of years now.

They only paid me half of my salary twice in a row. So I am not working another hour until I receive my money. What do you think ? I already talked with my boss about the issue and he told me to come in my rest day to “solve” the problem. I accepted and the next paycheque not only I did not received the owed amount but they halfed my pay once more so I am not coming tomorrow and besides I need to study for my exams.

Back in January, I posted about wanting to quit my job and leave the country. Well, I’m back with an update! For about 2 weeks after I came back from vacation, I kinda had a pretty major existential crisis over the whole situation. Everyone I know thought I was crazy for wanting this, and I even lost my best friend of 13 years over it. But I knew in my heart of hearts that it would all work out if I just took a leap of faith. And guess what? I’m leaving my job the second week of May and heading to Bogota. I landed a fully remote, part-time position in my field that pays well, has a flexible schedule, and allows me lots of room for creative freedom and growth. My wife gave notice today – and they termed her as of today to not have to cover her insurance into April … They don't respect us giving notice, stop respecting them with a notice – leave on the day you want to, preferably during the first of the month to screw them out of insurance premiums and then utilize the hell out of it ….
