Antiwork

First let me tell you about this Thing called Berufsgenossenschaft (BG) we have in Germany. It's a mandatory insurance paid by the company. If you have an incident at work or longterm damage the BG pays for healthcare, rehab and even retraining for another job. But since they don't want to pay for situations that are man-made they even are in charge of safety regulations and to random safety checks. The fee which the company has to pay depends on the amount of incidents and such that happen. So here is the situation. A few weeks ago I slipped at work and fell on my left arm. It hurt but was okay but since I already have health issues with it later that day after work it really started hurting. So next day I called in sick cause I wasn't able to lift heavy stuff (I work as a carpenter)…

So I just got a new job and am very proud of myself as it's my first paid job. Though I'm worried as the pay if I only work 15 hours a week (it's 15-20 hours a week) is actually gonna lower my income after tax. I'm in contact with my government to see if I'm able to still earn some benefits. The whole point of me getting a job was so I could earn more than I am now and finally get some savings going as the way things are now I'm barely scraping by in a one room apartment I share with my studying girlfriend

So I've decided I've had enough of my current job. Management is horrible and getting through a shift is insane because they won't put more than 2 people on overnight . Now they are saying I have to follow all these new rules that aren't in the employee handbook( trust me I've looked). So as a big f*** you I sat down in front of the cameras and filled out an app to another job. 🤣 forget this place!
