Seems fake but still accurate
Conversations about raise
Quick question. My job is based in Utah, not from there so I'm not sure of the laws there. After my raise of 3.4% he said not discuss my pay with my coworkers. He specifically said it was his recommendation but only at the end. Was this legal? Still bother by that conversation.
Errrrrr what .-.
I wrote here before. I am a healthcare worker and I am sick ad tired of working for this place, it feels like I am the only one caring about patients and common sense. I am an MRI tech and this week so far has been a rollercoaster ride. Monday a patient came and said he had an implant removed but he is not sure if they left anything behind. ( MRI is a strong magnet) so I decided to discuss with the radiologist who agreed with me to have this patient get xrays done. My department doesn’t want me to cancel patients because they lose money. Yesterday I had a patient who complained about his ankle and his order was foot radiologist refused to talk to me about it. I had to call and beg the physicians office multiple times for another order and they never did give me…
This sub won’t let me do a poll. :/ I work on average about 35-40, sometimes 45 (I working in the operating room and take call) but I want to work strictly 24 hours a week. This won’t ever happen if I still want enough money to live properly, but a girl can dream, ugh.
Homelessness is becoming normalized.
why do jobs drain the soul out of us
i just don’t want to work.
My boss of 7 years never let me take a lunch because it could “risk patient care.” I was told it's a “working lunch” = must stay at my computer, but “no food allowed at the computer”… Boss was budgeted to staff 20hr/wk but never ONCE saw her in 7 years staff or help out when we were dangerously low staffed, especially in winter months. Apparently “risk patient care” only applied to me not being able to take a lunch, not her staffing like she's supposed to. Besides missing lunchbreaks, there were so many stupid things done/said over the years. I got tired of getting screwed over and listening to her goof off in her office. By industry standards, I was doing the work of 3 FTEs. I told her on my way out nobody is going to tolerate these work conditions. She said “I'll hire someone to replace you…
