Anyways, I work at this smallish agency. Once a week we have a team meeting that is mostly women. I'm usually the only guy out of 2. I always feel like we get to speak last in our meeting. I want to bring this up without being looked at as sexist. Does anyone have any thoughts on this, I greatly appreciate any opinion regardless of gender.
Not being paid
About 2 months ago I was fired from a franchise store I ran for a few years. It was horribly ran and a very toxic franchise. I gave that place my entire life for years, and they fired me without warning. Even fought my unemployment (which I won because of the unjust reasons of which I was fired.) I had very little information on why I was fired, as the manchild they recently promoted ahead of me was shaking like a leaf and stammering so badly- AND wouldn’t answer my questions with anything other than “I don’t know” or “ask (regional manager)” nervously. I texted my regional manager straight after I walked out asking for details and never got a response. I texted one of my coworkers and was ignored as well. A week later I texted the franchise owner and asked about my last check and my unused PTO…
Mine are: “If you have time to lean, you have time to clean” and “If I have to do your job for you, what do I need you for?”
Basically the title. It really pissed me off. A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and as usual, I always start out by asking for the job description and the salary range. She would not give me a salary range so I said I need X amount in order to move to a new job. She said yes that would be possible, we even would be able to make this a senior title! I went along with the process and didn’t find out until the second to last step that the salary budgeted for the role was not only $30k under what I had said I needed, but would be a pay cut from what I make now to do WAY more work. And, surprise – it would not be a senior title despite it being very clearly senior level work. I last minute cancelled the last interview. (She…
so friday the 2 managers were having a meeting with the door open and talking loud. they are talking about me and one said it’s time to let me go. the other agreed saying i don’t do enough around here. i am a shop foreman at a body shop. my roles are driving customers home and picking them up, cleaning up after the techs, driving vehicles back and forth, finding lost parts. none of those are the typical roles of a “shop foreman” but i do them anyway. I do every single thing I’m told to do. Yet “I don’t do enough around here”. 2 of the employees here show up late —every single day—. They show up high as a kite and smelling like weed. Take at least 2 breaks a day to go hotbox their car, but that isn’t an issue.
There’s also other benefits such as tuition reimbursement and medical benefits but it’s a traditional 9-5 so if I decide to go to nursing school I wouldn’t even be able to work as a MA(medical assistant). I can make more money being a server or bartender on the weekends and I can finish school during the day. What do you guys think?

The “rich” just don’t understand.
Wanted to share something that my coworker said yesterday. So it seems the founder's son who inherited his father's legacy and his billions has made the statement that we should all go back to the office and work from home should not be allowed. The national head of her department told her that this would absolutely decrease productivity, but they have to start complying and are increasing her days in the office from 1 to 3 per week.
My company timings are 9 to 6 M-F. Everyone in my country is salary. No body gets paid for overtime or gets comp off time I had a supervisor who would constantly give me work after 7, it was always urgent. This happened nearly every day. The work was mentally taxing and it's difficult to do for so many hours especially after a full day of work. So I told her I won't work after 7 and if it was urgent to tell me sooner. Same thing happened with the weekend and my PTO. I literally had to block her because she called me 7 times when I was on bereavement leave to essentially ask for work Each time she complained to my manager and my co-workers. She assumed that I wouldn't tell my manager the same I , thankfully no longer have work with that supervisor However, my manager…
