The thing is that we are a company that sells some products. And every time when they are made, we need to check them. But there are two product kinds of products, I in charge of one. Bit of a rant and I have my own theories…but yeah. I swore off ever working in hospitality again years ago, only to try and dip my toes in again and discover it was exactly as shitty as I remember. Just too many coworkers and managers with these weird gross egos who want to make other people feel small so that they can feel big about themselves…I think to combat some weird internalized capitalist shame they have about not having what society thinks is a “real job”…so they try and cut others down in their workplace to try and compensate and experience some kind of contextual power and status that they feel they lack in wider society. It's kind of a long story, but I was looking to get a new job because my old work kept cancelling shifts and didn't want to give me more work. So I applied for a new job and I didn't read enough into the advertisement or they lied/hid the fact that they were a labor hire company and they were going to shoe horn themselves into my life and make things as difficult as possible and they said in an online meeting that we have to treat them like they're a “real employer” even though they don't do anything and they basically try to ham string me every single step of the way and harass me and send me emails, texts phone calls at random making thinly veiled threats/vague accusations for no reason. What the title says. Father M(56) used to have a lot of capitalist perspectives, but retired from 6 figure job to become a teacher. Since then he's beginning to understand the world children face a little bit more clearly. Really need peoples opinions on how to deal/hanlse this one. I work in a warehouse, and ive been working incredibly hard lately. I use heavy machinery,HiLO, sideloader fork lift, over head crane ETC. Ive been at the company for about a year, I like to take my work seriously, and work hard at it.
