Why do people treat you like you like something is wrong with you for choosing personal time over working more.

At my old job I regularly worked over 55 hours a week. It wasn't rare for me to hit 70. I would sometimes only see my kids while they were sleeping for up to 4 days straight. At the JOB I currently work at I work 40 hours. I chose this job so I could have more family time. My coworker bragged about getting over 160 hours in two weeks. Corporations should be able to be jailed.

Basically, the title. But if corporations are “people” then if they commit crimes they should be able to be jailed. Fines do nothing. If they can't follow the law, they shouldn't be able to do business. I know a corporation physically can't be locked up, but they can be barred from doing any business within the country.
