My regular boss went on maternity leave a few weeks ago. I loved her overall and she is one of the only reasons I stay at my job. Well, who took over for her while she’s out is a complete micro manager. Questions every single thing my team does. Has no trust in us. Her first interaction with me put such a bad taste in my mouth. Didn’t introduce herself, just emailed telling I had to do xyz. Didn’t even ask if I had questions. And what she asked me to do was not a normal thing I do with my previous boss. Needless to say I could care less about work. Fuck that place. People leave bosses not jobs. updating resume
Workers of Russia, the fate of the war is in your hands. The machine of war tramples your brothers and sisters in Ukraine, and even your fellow Russian soldiers! The gears of that machine turn with your labor. It is in your power to show your autocrat who truly controls the power of the nation. Commit to the general strike! Protest if you can! If you can't, Call In, Develop a very sudden case of “Covid”, take a vacation, or sabotage your business with idleness. You can control the destiny of Russia. You get to choose every day what you stand for! Today I call on you to stand for peace! The time is now, you only must stand up and seize it! The only thing you have to lose is your chains Трудящиеся России, судьба войны в ваших руках. Машина войны топчет ваших братьев и сестер на Украине и…

So as the title suggests i got a hefty promotion and a big budget that lets me increase quality of life of our workers. Without saying too that will give away which company im working for ill be a bit sparse on the details ; my workplace has had a great deal of people quitting, which was reasonable considering the conditions we are lucky we arent getting sued. (this is not a American company btw, but a bit of googling suggests its pretty much the same workers laws) I kissed ass the get a interview with the owner and promised him i could fix the current situation in return for a promotion and a budget to make conditions better, and everyone thats a year 2 assosiate or above so far gets : the equivalent of a 5k usd bonus in cash Extra interview about a pay raise (we do them…
Should I leave a 2 week notice?
So I am currently working at a job with a very disrespectful and unprofessional regional manager. I am the currently manager at this current business and I pretty much run every aspect of the business (sales, marketing, day to day, cleaning, maintenance, talent recruitment, scheduling etc) while the regional manager works from home and puts all responsibility on me so he can work on his side business. Basically one day he came in (he comes in maybe once every 1-2 months) and noticed some dust on the ground. We were short staffed that day and we were a bit behind on cleaning. He threatened to fire me essentially saying he could replace me whenever he wanted if I didn’t want to do my job. He said this to me in front of my staff and all the patrons of the facility. I basically just stood there and took it just…
Did you get a raise?
I guess the post says it all. I work as a car detailer and all I see are posts about: IT professionals going to make more money for their time. Notq saying it as a bad thing, go for it. Fucking get the cash, but seeing the same story over-and-over makes me think that it's either bots, or people telling stories… Or Retail workers getting fucked over. I left retail because I kept getting fucked by someone who wasn't my partner Nd explains to her at the end of my shift that I cheated on her. And yep, it happens, but I feel it's the same issue with bots and stories. Or Kitchen staff/cafe staff/restaurant staff getting fucked over. Now, this I think is all 100% true, because it always happens. In every kitchen. But jeez, how many stories are bots and story telling?
Looking for some information on who has profited the most from exploiting us shamelessly. There are the obvious ones like the Sacklers, Rothchilds, Rockefeller’s, Cheney’s etc… but does anyone know of a compiled list by value? I realize this may be somewhat subjective. Can’t afford to switch jobs
So, I just want to vent for a small bit. It may not get any real advice, but it helps me to put it out there. I have a job. It pays just fine, and it may be all I'm suited for. I don't have a bachelor's degree in anything. I in fact have an Associate's degree in chemistry. The problem is, after working in a lab setting for a few years, I realized it just really isn't for me. I'd much rather be in a tech field due to how easily computer programs and how easily I can manipulate data and various spreadsheet programs. I've looked into boot camps and spending time on Coursera to eventually switch careers. No dice. Everyone wants a bachelor's degree. Some don't even care what it's in. I found a job that I liked the idea of in indeed. Actually got a message from…
