Medical Coverage Question
Today is 2.26. I have a resignation letter in my hand that puts my last day at work on Mar 14th. I want to just slide it under my bosses door and be done with it, but I don't want them to let me go on the spot, since she is back in the office on the 28th (considering my position they may very well do). If they do this I know I may be eligible for partial unemployment up to the 14th but I was hoping I wouldn't lose medical coverage for the month of March, I have 2 young children and a stay at home mom under my plan. I will get gap insurance for sure but if I could avoid paying $500 that would be nice. Should I just wait and put in the notice on the 1st? I don't want to chicken out either..
Changing schedule
The new schedule may not leave us 1/2 hour for lunch. What are our options? It's a right to work state.
Hi, Years ago, I almost died while working at Pinterest because there were dogs everywhere in the office. They left me in severe pain, low energy, and seeking medical attention till this day. Many people don’t understand allergens (i.e. dead skin/dander) can fill an indoor space like odor or viruses. It’s been painful and at times life threatening. I just don’t know what to do anymore now that pets are common at workplaces, ride-shares, restaurants, planes, and hotels. I’m always worried about my safety and if this will lead to my death. Under the American Disability Act, I tried contacting workplaces, restaurants, and airports but it often leads to being ignored or nothing significant. Many places historically did not allow pets but now they are allowed and an entire group of…

Automate your Job
I'm a software engineer who hates 'work'. If anyone has got a job (something like data entry) where part of it or all of it could be easily automated, let me know the details of your job and I'd like to see if I can help you automate it and reduce your workload so you can spend less time working and more time living life. The more details, the easier it will be for me to help you out.
Worked 2 years straight through this pandemic as a registered nurse, and just beginning 2022, I myself tested positive for covid. Unable to work, my employer then dropped my health insurance because I didn't get enough hours in the pay period because I was forced to stay home with covid! There's some real appreciation for taking care of everyone else during covid. I went almost 2 weeks without pay and was dropped from my health insurance!
