i had recently quit my job, my boss has not submited any ROE to the gov, they held back my check and my separation slips for seems what no reason whatsoever, and had the audacity to be mad and have an attitude with me when i requested my papers for me to pick up. I have been waiting a couple months for them to do so, as it says he is required to do so after 5 callender days, says right on the gov site. Im am unsure what to do because i dont like burning bridges or calling people out, i am not receiving EI while i hunt for jobs so its very difficult to do so with no means of getting gas. any advice on what to do as i am currently lost. (in Canada btw)

I'm privileged to say that I love my job, and I'm so grateful for that. But a recruiter reached out to me for an opportunity and when she told me the range started at what would be a 50% increase for me, I had to learn more, even though part of me knew I'd miss where I am now. I went through the whole portfolio review and the guy is a little intense, and he's critiquing my portfolio, telling me things that “even basic designers should know” and I'm thinking, didn't you reach out to me? Why are you even interviewing me? I work at an authorized retailer for AT&T called prime communications, and the store I worked at shut down. I walked to the store every day, and once it closed I figured I'd get fired and get unemployment, but instead my DM moved me to another store I have no way of getting to. He said I can either send a resignation email, or they can file job abandonment. What should I do in this scenario?

So I have a bipolar and take meds so i can work and she made the comment that I’m sometimes delayed greeting customers and I was oh yeah it’s my medication it messes with vocab and proccessing time. She was like we need to find a solution to work on it. I legit looked at her and said what get put on different medicine and she legit said well it’s effecting customers. I'm a photographer in particular I'm a landscape/building photographer. I don't really photograph people, but for the sake of expanding my business I'm about to break into that side of photography. Employers hate distractions from work. Don't mention kids, commute, or any other reason you may need to stay home for a position. By talking about your OFFICE employers will not have ammo to use against you. I used this and I don't even have a home office.

My “boss” (actually my client since I'm self employed) is a very abusive, unreasonable person. Anyone who has spent more than five minutes in his presence knows this. I am currently looking for another job but not having much luck. ​ He's the only one here who can make financial decisions. We do construction, I do the bidding and he gives me the pricing to put on it. He has an extremely nasty habit of telling me to charge for something, or not charge for something, and then later not remembering that he said that and blaming me for it. Most recently was a job I bid on back in like September, October sometime. We were trying to bring the price down so he told me, “dont charge for the precast” so next to precast, I wrote “do not charge for this, per “boss” with the date next to it.…

Tl/Dr: agency offers my less qualified daughter $20/hr but can't actually hire her, only offers me $12/hr My daughter applied for a job as a home health aid worker. She has no experience in the field of health care, doesn't have a reliable car and has three children under the age of five (two under the age of two) that will likely affect her attendance when the daycare can't take them because Covid-19 exists and everyone is paranoid.
