#Harvard’s culture of protecting its own at the expense of others is also being exposed by former students whose careers were negatively impacted by a tenured professor.

This is a montage of part I & II of a #Tiktok video series detailing the recent lawsuit 3 former students ( Margaret Czerwienski, Lilia Kilburn and Amulya Mandava) have currently with the Ivy league. This serves as yet another case study of the troubling pattern of Harvard circling the wagons whenever someone of authority (John Comaroff) is being exposed for inappropriate behavior and harassment. Article 1 Article 2 The result is always retaliation against their subordinates, whether they're students, or employees who go through the proper channels to make a complaint that launches internal investigation. Their jobs/ careers always end up sabotaged after the fact. We hope that justice prevails for the plaintiffs and that the truth is exposed, just like in Ian Johnson's case against Harvard Law School's IT Department. His story was already highlighted on the antiwork sbureddit. Also, please review the first #TikTok montage on #YouTube…

How I quit a job

This is an older story of mine, from around 2018. I used to work at an A&W as a cashier. I was one of two people they had at the time that was even remotely trained to do so. Everyone else was kitchen staff, and other than the one (of three managers) none of the managers knew how to even work the fucking system. The one (good) manager they had there did most of my training, and it was nice. He was respectful, patient, kind, a good manager. I worked mostly with him for my first week there. My second week though, I met the worst of the three. Dude was fucking rude, and pushy, if something didn't get done in what he considered a timely manner we were yelled at, sometimes even in front of customers. I fucking hated this dude. He'd insult the workers intelligence, swear at us,…

Stuck in a rut

I quit a not so great job suddenly almost 2 months ago. I had no backup plan, no savings. My parents have thankfully helped their 35 year old daughter so I don't lose my house. But I cannot seem to get myself back in the “work force”. I'm so wildly over the idea that in order to actually make a living, I have to basically give up my life. I live in a very rural area so job options are kind of limited. There are plenty of factory jobs, where the money is decent (compared to other options in the area), but you are basically guaranteed to have to work 60ish hours a week. Or, it's gas stations, walmart, or fast food restaurants which barely pay anything… I have to find something. I know I do. I also know my depression isn't helping anything, and I'm in the process of…

Not giving enough notice

So I start a new job on Monday and I dident give my current job any notice yet. Should I tell them I’m quitting on Friday? Or what should I do?

Does it seem suspiciously odd…

Does it seem suspiciously odd that when the working class (i.e. all of us) show our dissatisfaction with pay, healthcare, time off, and quality of life, and actually have the beginnings of a movement for change, a war suddenly appears to take the focus away? Seems like a perfect smokescreen to raise prices, claim stagflation, and do nothing to better the lives of all of us. Am I wrong?

This was posted in my former workplace. I asked about it, as I regularly had to stay late as a waitress, and they said it only applied to the kitchen staff. The reason being is that they’re not legal workers and can’t report it…Disgusting.
