It’s so fucking crazy to me that I just got in a little argument with my coworkers that if we’re in lock down that means staying quiet and I’m the dark. But they’re just trucking along banging dishes and shit. God damn this shit is stupid. I get that we might not be in any danger but still.

I’ve been done with this job since the beginning of the pandemic. The monotony, the incompetence of the executive team, the long hours working until 2-3 a.m. Only to watch the company slowly crumble. A few months ago it got sold to an even more incompetent company, like 10x worse. Almost all of the former executives have quit (probably in fear of losing their job) and many more have been let go. The acquiring company has made it abundantly clear they don’t give a fuck about us and everything has been a complete disaster. Half of my team (accounting) has quit and they have done nothing to try and replace anyone. They just dumped work of people who left onto other team members and now they’re working 12 hour days trying to get stuff done. They tried to get me to do someone else’s job, but I refused and it…
