My “bank health” check was… Depressing
(in UK for reference) So just had what my bank calls a “health” check about what accounts I have, what kind of loans I can take out, etc etc (apparently these are planned for people who have accounts that don't change for years). It’s so fucking crazy to me that I just got in a little argument with my coworkers that if we’re in lock down that means staying quiet and I’m the dark. But they’re just trucking along banging dishes and shit. God damn this shit is stupid. I get that we might not be in any danger but still.
Tesla reinforcing their bad habits
I’ve been done with this job since the beginning of the pandemic. The monotony, the incompetence of the executive team, the long hours working until 2-3 a.m. Only to watch the company slowly crumble. A few months ago it got sold to an even more incompetent company, like 10x worse. Almost all of the former executives have quit (probably in fear of losing their job) and many more have been let go. The acquiring company has made it abundantly clear they don’t give a fuck about us and everything has been a complete disaster. Half of my team (accounting) has quit and they have done nothing to try and replace anyone.
