Have you ever had a coworker die?
I have being seeing an increase in posts about coworkers who have died. If you have had a coworker die, how did that make you feel? How did your company respond? What did you do or not do after they past? Is there anything you would like to say to memorialize them here?

New CEO even worse??
So. I work for a non-profit in the US. We’ve been really looking at a lot of our internal DEI work over the last two years, causing some people who have been with the org for a long time to have some mixed reactions. Our former CEO was one of these people. One meeting after the next he was putting his foot further and further into his mouth with insensitive, bigoted, close minded comments, and he took every chance to “fix” any of it to just make it worse. Dudes been here for years so despite repeated staff complaints, he sticks around until he’s finally tired of getting called out. We then go through a 6-9 month process, hiring consultants, having all staff meetings to discuss what we want in a new CEO, etc. This whole process ends with us hiring a (now) former board member to become the new…
I notified my manager that I was having back pain and he denied my request for an ergonomic chair citing that work at home associates must supply their own furniture within the HR policy. Before I made the request, I spoke to the workplace analyst who orders this type of furniture for associates all the time, said the manager should supply reasonable accommodations even if they are a work from home associate. And ergonomic furniture is defined as a reasonable accommodation in the HR policy. I feel like my manager is being hostile about this because it’s a reasonable request and some associates already get this accommodation without being hassled.
I am routinely charged the wrong amount at the grocery store for sale items. I have to assume that it happens to every person who shops there. They make their receipts difficult to decipher. They pulling an office space on us or whatever Superman it was also in. Tired of being scammed and swindled. If you think it’s an accident, it ain’t. I don’t know if this fits here but idk where else to post

Everyone keeps telling me, “YOU CAN GET A JOB ONLINE!” Every time I look online, there's nothing. It's all scams, the call centers are either scams or you have to know someone. The only “real” job I've ever had that was online was youtube. I posted content on there for around 1/2 a year till I had a small hiccup. Nothing I could do about it. Tried to reinstate my Adsense stuff, said I was denied. Every time someone has said, “try these websites out!” I did, they wanted me to pay for courses, or register something, or pay for a background check, NOPE. Not happening. You hired me cause you need me, not me pay for shit and hope to get paid. I have an etsy and it's not doing so hot. I get it, my store is a niche and that's fine. But online jobs? If you have…
