I worked for a supermarket that underpaid their staff, timed checkout staff to see if they scanned fast enough, timed workers on clearing food deliveries, forced staff to stay late whenever they decided to do a stocktake, forced staff to clock out at 8pm yet made them do close downs which took around 20 minutes or longer. As a response, I ate food out back and then wrote it off, gave customers free items by not scanning certain products, purposefully took too long on certain tasks just for the hell of it, and turned a blind eye to the shop lifters. I managed to quit years back but I've never regretted for a moment punching back at those who exploit workers.
It’s the American way.

My interaction w/ Ebay this week
I have a friend who drives for UPS, and is in the Teamsters. He makes good money. He's also a hardcore Trump supporter and encourages everyone to vote Republican. When I tell him that the Republican party wants unions dead he seems to be clueless. Likewise, my younger brother had a seasonal job at a large hardware superstore that I won't name. Apparently they've done a lot to fight off unions. According to my brother this place employs a lot of blue-collar white males who love the Trump culture. On the other hand, it's seems obvious that all the Starbucks and Apple store workers who want to unionize are probably mostly liberal/democrat voting. Some questions… Are there any unions that anyone can think of that has a lot of Trumpers/Republicans? And perhaps they're oblivious to what the Republican party stands for wrt unions? And are there places that probably should…
