Whenever they ask to buy ANYTHING, the first search result is usually from some big company, but I will go out of my way to avoid those suppliers even if it costs a bit more because 1) It's not MY money 2) fuck those guys I know that it doesn't make a big difference, but I do it out of spite

Being fired for criminal background
So yesterday I was called into HR, and I was told that they had no idea I had a criminal background. I've worked for this company for nearly 2 years and had disclosed this information to the site manager as well as the director at the time of my hire and they told me that HR and all other relevant people were informed. I can understand not offering me employment due to a criminal record, but can they fire me 2 years down the road? I know they can fire me for literally anything, but this seems like wrongful termination. Would really appreciate any advice here. Just for clarification, I have had no issues with the law in over 10 years.
