So me and my fiancé never call out during storms, we’re always there no matter how bad it is outside. Now suddenly we have to and my employer is acting like we do this every time. Frankly I don’t want to take an Uber in and I don’t want to get in a car with my sketchy boss I barley know, especially because he hasn’t provided how I’m supposed to get home. When I asked how I’m supposed to get home. He ghosted me.

I got poked by a friend with a WFH opportunity that pays the same, but untipped ($21 an hour) that just allows me to work on side projects when I have time. I work Graveyard shift currently, and am asleep during human hours normally. I can’t leave my current job because I’ve been sort of housed (defined here as not crashing with a friend or parents) for the last year or so, and I’m trying to get into housing. Housing is just fucking expensive. I can afford up to $1000/month in…
