To start, I was actually supposed to start my 2nd day at my new job today, which I though would be a stepping stone to better things, but lost it due to this incident. I'm technically homeless though I live out my car so that's something over my head. I had been looking for work for months wrecking my credit and doing all possible to keep above water. Services have me waiting with no responses for a loooong time, this incident has messed up everything. Again, I work at Potbelly. No idea why my boss doesn’t have a schedule posted online for anyone. I had days off for the fourth. While away, I e-mailed my boss requesting a pic of next week’s schedule thats’s hung up in the store. She hasn’t responded, so I haven’t been to work since getting back home. Advice on what the hell to do? I have bad anxiety so I don’t really wanna just walk in the store and confront anyone about this.

So found out why I haven’t been getting paid. Apparently some weirdo been doing shit, and deleted my bank account info for my direct deposit, I’ve also noticed on my pay stubs that the way I get paid, the information keeps changing… So instead of going straight to my bank via Direct Deposit, it went to “Wells Fargo” before, I don’t have an account there btw. It’s probably a familiar story to you guys but I work a 50 hour work week which constantly forces me to work. I have no time to sit and relax on my phone to read Reddit or watch tiktoks. Today a big project came up and and forced me to work for 2 hours straight on it. Finally after the 2 hours I was able to work on my clash of clans base and finish my upgrades. How do people do this for 20 years plus?

I work at a small law firm. I’m currently the only employee other than the manager working and has been so since I started 3 months ago. He also owns the firm. The work we do has really significant implications for our clients personal lives and is very deadline sensitive, so that is already stressful but the conditions make it worse. In this time, I have not received any in-house or external training, no sit-down meetings with manager regarding performance or current work and the absolute bare minimum in terms of guidance and feedback. My manager is barely in the office. He speaks to me for a total of maybe 2 minutes a day but usually less. I work a Monday – Friday job and have a meeting once a month. We’ve had Saturday trainings before but I made up an excuse of why I couldn’t go. We recently had one sometime in June and I told my boss I wasn’t going to be able to attend and she then proceeded to tell me that I would have to go to a different location out of our region. I decided to go as the whole thing was just giving me anxiety. But today I see where they have another Saturday training this month. These trainings are around five to six hours.
