Elin Musk is an Idiot
Why he asks? Because if he treats his employees anything like his Tesla customers on either side of the business, they are gonna need some PROTECTION.
I honestly have no idea where to post this, but this seems like a sub full of people that are frustrated by the corporate status quo, so I think this is a good place to start. Basically, during the pandemic we all shifted to nearly universal remote work. Many employers are working hard to claw back those policies and get people in corporate offices. Let me skip the whole pro/con of remote work conversation, skip any data, skip any benefit to either side, and simply say this: I believe if it’s possible to do a job remotely, we should be empowered to make the decision to be in office or not. I hate thinking that people die for these companies just for the companies to say “oh well sorry 🤷️ good…

The company I have been working for was hiring causal only but told me that they had so much need for workers that I would definitely get full time hours. This was a lie lol, I never got a shift longer than three hours and never got more than 10 hours a week. It took me a while to find another job but luckily my parents were able to help. Because I got another job I needed weekends free, so I left them a message telling them that unfortunately I would have to stop working on weekends immediately, which I know is difficult on their end, but they took away my shifts last minute sometimes. In any case I checked and they just took away all my shifts, which would be ok but I still wanted to keep…
we have a lot in common it seems
