“Just move to a place you can afford”
I got hired and they changed their mind?
Hi you guys, this is my first time making a post so sorry if the way I write is not the best. Let me get straight to the point, about 4 weeks ago I had met this guy who helped me get a job at a restaurant in my town, I got an interview with one of the managers and i instantly was hired and was set to start the following week. I payed like 70$ for the uniform cause they don’t provided you with one. So the day I was supposed to start I literally got dressed and was on my way to enter when I got a phone call telling me not to enter anymore because I wasn’t put into the system yet, that they were gonna let me know when I was put in & I should be able to start the following week. I went in…
Warning, this is a rant. I'm sick of working this way so of course on TikTok there's always something. Recently I've gotten a lot of content on how to “grow your money” to save for retirement. And it's coming from the mouths of 26-30 year olds who already make 6 figures. So of course my question is how to get where they are, right? However they talk in circles and don't give you specifics because of course you have to pay money for information, money you don't have…

We are more connected than ever but it seems only conservatives in the U.S. are using social media to organize boycotts of stores and products they don’t agree with on a large scale. How can we come together and show the collective power of workers and improve the standard of living for workers all around the world?
The reason why I’m scared is because of financial ruin. I need money, I want money. But shit I don’t want a job. This is anti work so I know that statement has probably been made a hundred times. I’ve been here before mentally during 2020 and was able to pull myself out of it by taking a low stress job working no more than 5 hrs a day. I kept getting jobs like that low hours, but increasing pay (ironically). That was in undergrad though so it was more acceptable. I graduated in 2021 with BS Accounting so I feel like I have to get a FT job making at least $18hr. I want so badly to move out. The problem with this is I have become so unmotivated, my work ethic is nonexistent. I have only been unemployed for 4 months prior to this current position. I don’t…
