I think we should make a vote like r/pics/ did to convert this sub into only allowing images of John Oliver looking sexy to maliciously comply to the forced reopening of the sub. In fact, every sub should do this in my opinion. The idea is that content does not have to reflect the subs title and reddit argues that users want subs to reopen and this is all in the interest of the users. So if a user vote says they want only images of John Oliver looking sexy the sub only does what the users want. I don't even know who John Oliver is but I would love to have spez own a dead site with only images of that dude looking sexy.

I'm 22M, i'm a procurement manager at a company where I'm from, i used to love my job, I learned a lot from it. I met a lot of cool people, I made connections with many establishments that's useful for the future but the job is so unbelievably stressful… It pays well but the cost is my own mental health. It's a 9-5 but they don't treat it as a 9-5. Sometimes I get called in at like 8pm, sometimes I get called in on my weekends. To the point where when my weekend DOES show up I'm constantly thinking “are they gonna let me relax or call me in today?”. I absolutely love my boss, she's amazing, very supportive and listens to me but she has so much on her plate. She's running 2 businesses at the same time, helping another company make a new building, her own problems…

People are very upset that I was laid off after learning that I was behind this prank that everyone adored. They called it the duck mystery and often discussed which team could be behind it. Forget the lot of them. They never deserved me. It’s my world and they’re just living in it.

Context – My father is a die hard conservative, born in 1952 and comes with all of said baggage. He and I have been back and forth regarding too many things to count. I'm trying to be genuine here, but at the same time honest, he is racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic and overall xenophobic… He is also extremely work obsessed, I chalk that up to him failing jr high in the 70's and going straight into the work force so that's literally the only thing he knows. I am extremely fortunate to work for company I like. This being said the company provides time off. As of the time of this posting, Saturday, I have a three day weekend in observation of Juneteenth.
