If all you can afford is food and rent, What's the point of anything?
No way, really?!?
Bar manager stealing from employees
Last night I had a table leave without paying. It’s not super common but this shit happens. So I go to my boss and ask if he can please void the bill, he tells me that I’m actually responsible for paying the bill, since it’s my job to watch over my tables. I told him that’s definitely not legal, he then asked if I was challenging him. I really watched this man child’s power trip manifest before my eyes. He then brought up that last week, the new girl had a table walk out and their tab was $140!! And that “She paid it with no complaints”. That poor girl didn’t know better. If you’re a restaurant manager, these are expenses that YOU account for, and YOU are responsible for. Not your fucking minimum wage paid, exhausted, broke ass working class employees. What a selfish sack of shit.
The new “cost” of working from home
Oh no! Whatever will we do without micromanaging bosses? The horror.
Your take on the OverEmployed
In the world of antiwork – how does everyone feel about the growing cohort of OE people who are getting hired for 2 or 3 full time wfh jobs simultaneously? These are all jobs that are in the higher pay range (75k plus) and individuals are making 250k + in salary while taking jobs off the market?
