I am a railroader and union. I was military prior and worked fast food in high school. I got bitched at for earning OT as a student when “they” gave the hours. I’ve worked other jobs in between and I want to participate in this sub as my industry has its own but is an an echo chamber into itself.

I don't live in any of the states listed, but Nightly News is how I get my fill on the news. Don't usually post on here but the McDonald's story today was pretty upsetting to me. Franchise locations have a story of hiring 10 year olds for free and working them into the early morning (along with other child labor violations)? If it's possible, the owner of the franchise with the 10 year olds should face legal trouble. This is basically slavery https://youtu.be/9zghe2HXtnU
