We’ve reported him to our boss and her boss at least a dozen times for abusive outburst, yelling and swearing at us when we’re alone with him, throwing things, posturing, just so much aggressive and passive aggressive behavior it’s crazy. Our managers never kept a paper trial and asked US what we wanted them to do about it. With the newest coworker he exploded at they said it was “the most afraid they’ve ever been.” I told them this has been going on for over a year and our boss and her boss keep telling me this is normal and ignoring it. Does anyone else get annoyed at work after spending hours in traffic trying to get to work. Like the same thing I do at work I can do at home. So I’m already annoyed to begin with when I make it to work. On top of that I only have like 10k in my checking account. So I’m already annoyed that I’m not rich. Advice on how to stop getting annoyed at my boss and co workers. I get highly frustrated when they tell me what to do to. As if sitting in 2 hours of traffic isn’t enough. And then you tell me I’m gonna get more work load under my belt. How is everybody holding up?

I’ve been at my role for almost 2 1/2 years. I work with kids K-5 and am burnt out, but also cannot stand my boss anymore. I am scared to quit with two weeks notice because of the manipulation and emotional abuse she will do. Our relationship has crossed too many boundaries that I feel stuck at this place. I was given a call today while I was in the road from an HR department at a company I applied to. She asked why I had left my previous jobs, even though on the application I had stated the reasons. She told me that I have to many jobs over the past three years. I don’t show enough loyalty to my job so she’s not sure if they have room for me at their company. I don’t understand why this woman would take time out of her day to ask me questions she already knows the answer to and to say I wasn’t loyal to companies that weren’t loyal to me. Why must these people insist on wasting people’s time?

I have been suffering from a spinal injury since last year, but was primarily bedridden from it during Jan-Mar, with the ability to return to work (WFH) in April with restrictions. Short term disability has been a royal pain in the ass and I haven’t been paid since Feb. They denied my claim from mid Feb on and told me I needed to see my doctor again to be able to appeal. My doctor agreed again that I needed to be out of work during that time and submitted the necessary paperwork. Well, MetLife got back to me and said their own physician took a look at my records and decided I am not eligible for pay. That’s a looong time not be paid, and they made me waste money on a doctor visit! I’ve been paying for insurance through my employer and when I actually need to use it…
