I hate this so much it. It makes me want to cuss out any hiring manager who does this. You aren't hiring for a job, you are looking for a sucker to agree to work without pay unless a sale is made. Why spend time on something for a company that may or may not be a waste of time. And yet base f**king salary and commissions being a bonus isn't feasible? Why? That's how most sales jobs of that nature work. We are adults not girl scouts. Why bother asking for a degree if the job can be done without one. Stuff like this is why “there's so many jobs!” Is a bs lie. There's a lot of scams and false job postings.
All it would take is 1 week of nationwide strikes to start major workplace reform. Even if only 60% of the population chose to strike, it would bring the leaders to the brink. Look back on how the USA started cowering after just a week of stay at home and not even all the businesses where closed. It's just unfortunate we cannot trust our fellow man/woman to actually strike.
As a third worlder it baffles me how most people posting here are americans or other first worlders. It feels really entitled of them to complain when they live better than 90% of the world. They dont actually know what living in an undeveloped country with no real job or education oportunities feels like Even a “qualified” job in the third world is worse and pays far less than a “shitty” job in the usa and europe. This sub really makes people from developed countries sound lazy and entitled

Understaffing and priority changes
Rant My company is a relatively small startup, the founder is “self taught” about the field, yesterday i needed to explain to him for over half an hour why do i have QC steps in the procedures, I don't think he got it, i think i just got tired of me repeating the basics he doesn't know. And told me he didn't thing that these QC steps are important (I have a PhD, basically a ten year education in the field). We are severely understaffed, we are three people doing the work of at least nine. And I'm currently working on six projects, two days ago he decided the change priority of all works to a completely different project. That requires materials we haven't used and over a year, and he is getting mad at me that it's taking so long to QC the materials, and why haven't i haven't…
